Hebrews 10:23
I did my devotion on this particular verse this morning, when I looked in detail certain meaning of words and looked up other Bible translations on the same verse. I was utterly blown away. Hope this will bless you.

"Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful." [NIV]

Unswervingly: Not veering or turning aside, constant, steady.
Profess: To affirm openly, declare or claim.

"Let's keep a firm grip on the promises that keep us going. He always keeps his word." [The Message]

"So let us seize and hold fast and retain without wavering the hope we cherish and confess and our acknowledgement of it, for He Who promised is reliable (sure) and faithful to His word." [Amplified Bible]

How beautifully versed is the Amplified and The Message!

Prayer: Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness for You are the Rock whom we stand. Help us to hold fast to the hope that You have promised us. Help us to not only hear Your Word, but do what the Word says. We put all our trust in You because we lean on You, for You're faithful in keeping Your Words. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
