Moses enters the temple with Joshua. He lights the burnt offering, he offers his prayer and spoke on behalf on the people. When all is done, he leaves the temple. Yet Joshua stayed. He stayed and he continued to worship, long after Moses left.

What an attitude of worship Joshua has! If there's one thing I desire to possess, it's the heart of worship found in Joshua. It's the heart that says there is more. A heart that wants to dwell in the house of God. He doesn't just do sunday church, leaves the house and spends the rest of the week wondering why he's drained out and feeling like God is a million miles away.

No, he knows there is more of God. He knows that even when Moses leaves the temple, the Spirit of God is there. The Jehovah, who is the Almighty God dwells in that temple. He desires, longs, hungers and thirsts to have more of God. Worship is not just songs. What a stinking lie of the enemy! How dare he! Worship is a lifestyle. When we're at work and feel tired, worship. When we come home feeling empty, worship. When we have a need, worship. When we face challenges in every area of our lives, worship.

Worship.
Worship.
Worship.

Lots of people want this super bombastic word of knowledge from God, ten thousand Bible verses, or maybe even prayer that goes on for God knows how long. The answer is worship. When we worship, we draw near to God, we kiss towards, we make a decision to step into the throne room of God. You see, God doesn't ask us to do something that He didn't do before. He wouldn't ask us to pick up the cross if He hasn't done that. He wouldn't ask us to dwell in Him and draw close to Him if He didn't in the first place. And ever since, His one desire is that we draw close to Him and have that intimate fellowship with God. We're drawing that divine connection with His Spirit and ours when we worship. Why do you think He intructs us to worship in spirit and in truth?

I love our Father for He's a God who wants to have such a close intimacy with us!

The praise His Spirit that desires to live in us. Yes, the same Spirit that rose Jesus from the dead. God doesn't give us second best, He loves us that much! wow.

This is my cry
My one desire
Is to be where You are, Lord
Now and forever
It's more than a song
My one desire
Is to be with You
Is to be with You
Jesus
- One Desire, Hillsong

I long to be in Your courts, Dad.
To dwell in Your house forever and ever.

Just a moment here with You
Means more than anything to me.
