It's been a quiet day at the office so far. The only voice that's audible on a day like that is the hum of the server and its ventilation fans. I've come to like days like that where I could hear myself think and I'm more productive actually.

It's been the 6th amazing week at work here in Reapfield Technology. And I'm still grateful for God who has made this possible. It's been very enjoyable, with colleagues that I could easily get along with. Currently, they're pretty fond of teasing me of going out for lunch with S k y e. And of course, speaking of which, my dearest is at a WorldTeach meeting with the directors at Ikea. And after work later on, we'll collect the keys to her apartment here in DP from the agent. My folks will be meeting us here too, and who knows maybe we'll all do dinner together. I praise God 'cause my folks and S k ye have gotten to know each other well and it's lovely to see them interact with each other, since my folks now love her! heheh :) Yesterday, my brother called from Melbourne and it was a great time of just talking and catching up with what's happening in both sides of the world. Clearly, he's already a changed man (I choose to call his 'man' because that's what he's growing up to be), he sounded more grown up and mature. When we were about to end the conversation, he wanted to talk to S k y e because he said that since he couldn't be here to acually meet her, he wanna get to know her better at least through the phone. That's nice of him.

On a slightly off-topic, my dad cracked us up when he gave my brother some 'cooking' tips. In short, he said since there are so many cows in Gippsland, when you see them walking by, just kill them and cook! Cook some parts for rendang, some to stir-fry and others for lots more dishes. Yes, that's my dad giving 'cooking' lessons for international students living independently. Any takers? Actually, it was really funny when it's told in Mandarin.

So, in less than 4 hours, S k y e and myself we'll knock off work and we'll make a short trip to her apartment. At the moment, we're finding a cell group to settle down and praying about a few things concerning ministry in church. All is good. God has been awesome and has not stop blowing our minds. How could you not love a God like Him? And here, we believe that there is: More. And we're not gonna stop asking for more.

"And now, that You're near
Everything is different

Everything's so different, Lord

I know I'm not the same

My life You've changed

I wanna be with You

I wanna be with You"

- Now That You're Near, Hillsong

I want my life to echo the cry that of David, "I just want to be where You are, I don't want to worship from afar." That reminds me of the passage I read from So, You Call Yourself A Man from T.D Jakes: Be like Lazarus. Why? Because he heard the voice of Jesus and he came out of his old circumstances. He walked out of the stench he had and came closer to Jesus, regardless of what other people thought about him. He has been lying with other dead corpses but he didn't acted like one. And when God delivered him from death, he walked with Jesus everywhere Jesus went. When he was having a meal with his Miracle Maker, he reclined close to him and enjoyed His presence.

When one has been through death and came back alive, even the littlest things in life is a pleasure.

Link from Jono's blog, found this quiz for the five love languages inspired by Dr. Gary Chapman.
Click through the quiz over here. Pretty interesting and very near the bull's eye too, I say. haha. It's the 6th week at work today, and I'm certainly looking forward to the long weekend already. Praise God! Although, yeah, it IS gonna be a busy week with my dear moving to DP! :) All's good here in PJ, Malaysia. God's good.

Was watching the new United album's DVD with S k y e on a lazy afternoon yesterday and it was... wow! I mean, yes, of course the art direction and all that was great, but it's amazing how something like that could speak to you so personally. I love it and I know I don't ever wanna lose that intimacy with God. Its everything, you know.. like out of that, your can derive so many things you wanna do and give to Him. He deserves everything.

It's Monday and I SHALL rejoice in Him because it's a day that You've made! Thank You once again, Lord. I shall be productive and get back to work now. God bless, have an awesome week!

I smile when I think about all the things God has done in my life and the lives of my loved ones. I'm quietly but deeply convicted of His goodness that resonates everytime I think about Him. No matter where I am, He's there to lift me up and to remind me that there's more. I was driving to work, and just like every morning, I'll pop in a worship CD and begin to soak in His presence - It helps me start the day right, and at the end of the day, it never fails to recharge, refill and to direct my whole being onto Him. So, as track 11 (For All You've Done) of 'Arise' played, I was filled with an overwhelming sense of gratitude of what God has done in my life and our lives. There's so much to thank Him for, even David reminded us to forget not His benefits.

For all You've done, I will lift my voice and shout out Your praise. For all You've done, my heart and life will never be the same! I love You, Lord and I wanna give You thanks for:

- Jesus, without You I wouldn't even be here.
- The church, both in Melbourne (Planetshakers) and Malaysia (DUMC).
- My family.
- My dearest S k y e, who has always been there for me (it's our 10th mth together tmrw) :)
- For S k y e's loving family and relatives.
- My friends in Melbourne and Malaysia, even a few in Singapore too.
- My colleagues.
- My boss, David, who has shown me God in the workplace.
- My job in Reapfield, which can only happen because of You.
- Little green Getz that takes us everywhere! :)
- Providing S k y e with an awesome job and a good place to stay.
- Ps Matt who believed in me and always assured that.
- The pastors in DUMC, esp Ps Daniel who visioned Dream Centre.
- The awesome land that God has put me in, Malaysia and Singapore.
- The awesome and glorious plans that God has for me and us.
- All of my past, both the good memories and the not so good.
- The wonderful Future and Destiny You have for me and us.
- Changing me and making me a better man than yesterday.
- Taking us to greater heights.
- Blowing our minds and exceeding our expectations every time.
- Loving me.
- All You've done and for all You're going to do.

I love You, Lord and I always will. Amen :)

We're living in history-making times.

This weekend, in fact will be another milestone. I can't find enough words to thank God for all that He has done in me and is us. I believe that all these have already taken place the moment we pray weeks and months ago, yet sometimes there where moments when it was hard. Hard to believe, but He was there, He has always been there.

Come Saturday morning I'll be taking the first bus to Singapore. It's been almost 2 months since I was there. But I could still remember it like it was yesterday. I love being in Woodlands! I do. haha, and I remember saying that too in one of the earlier posts. Yet I know, it's not only the physical address of the place (although I really do like being there, there's a sense of being home and at peace there), but it's the fact that S k y e and her family is there. Yes, it's been a while hasn't it? But I praise God that it's all going to happen in just four days! I can't forget the times when I walk down the streets of Singapore with S k y e. It was sweet in all its simplicity. And yes, how could we forget the time when we went to Suntec to stuff ourselves full of Jap cuisine. man! that was goooood. And the simple but beautiful moment of just being able to sit on the couch, whether it's in my dear's home in Woodlands or the chalet at Changi, I marvel at the way God set everything up in all its wonder, and yet I could still talk to S k y e's family in an awesome way. I kinda miss laughing my guts out talking to S k y e and her mom that night too :D

Saturday, I'll be in Singapore again (insert many smileys) :D And it will be nothing less than awesome. And on Sunday, we'll be going to PJ together. I'm really quietly happy that my parents are beginning to treat S k y e like a part of the family! She was loved the moment she stepped into our house the first time. But the things that they do for her now, whoa.. haha, what can I say, but I can only be ever so thankful to our Father in heaven.

I've only one prayer: Let our lives be a sweet fragance unto You. Don't let us ever be complacent but help us to expect more, to have the faith that want more of You in our lives and relationship. We love You, Dad. You rock big time! Amen.

:D :D :D

The very moment when someone tries to put Jesus in a box, He walks right out of it and leaves us with the box itself. With the box just being a void structure, it resonates emptiness and darkness. It is when the Light of the world is not present, everything else that tries to be a substitute of our Lord, leaves us a sense of profound unsatisfaction. There is nothing like the real deal.

You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men.

- Matthew 5:13 [NIV]

What use is salt when it loses its saltiness? And to every branch that does not produce, God cuts it off, so that those who does bear fruit will bear even more fruit! What is if you have the best burning candle, but it is hidden under a cover where no one can see? However, we have been called to be the city on a hill that cannot be hidden.

To quote the words of Ps Peter Tsukahira when he was speaking in a conference called 'My Father's Business', there are lots of things in this world that wants to take away the power and authority that God has given us as His children. God has instituted that we observe the Sabbath, and what is Sabbath? - It is a day of complete rest. Now why do you think God commands us to observe the Sabbath? Mind you, it's not a good suggestion, nor a proposal that God presents to man. It is in fact a command. This is because we need to prepare ourselves to be the church that God has called us to be in the rest of the seven days. The devil recognises the power that God has given us, hence he has put distractions in our midst, wrong mindsets and a skewed worldview of how the world perceives us as Christians. Oh, we should not talk about God in the workplace. What if we upset our bosses, let's be quiet and just go about doing our own work and as long as we don't hurt nobody, that's OK. What a lie that the devil has planted in the minds of Christians.

There are lots of things that will take us away from being the salt and light that God talks about. The devil has put distractions both inward and outward in order for us to be ineffective for the gospel. All of these things keep pushing Christians further and further backward into a dark corner. And this corner has a name it's called - Sunday. Yes, as long as we don't hurt nobody in the workplace by mentioning that Name then we're OK. We could choose to accept this lie or break out of the box Satan is putting us in. You see, I figure, the enemy is happy as long as we are enclosed in the four walls of the church. He might say I don't really care what you do in the church, you can jump as high as you want, lift up your hands higher than anyone else. You can talk about God within those four walls, as long as you don't make any form of impact in the community, that's OK!

However, it is when we step out of the air-conditioned, carpeted and padded seats of our church and we talk about Jesus like He's the only thing that matter to us. And we talk about God to our friends and family like He's coming back tomorrow, then the devil is trembling. Why? That's simply because we're creating some serious damage in the kingdom of darkness. We are being the salt that regains its saltiness by preserving the lives of others and we're being the light that lifts the cover off of us and start shining in places where God is taboo. We begin to remind our Father of the time when Moses walked to Pharaoh and said let my people go! Only this, time, we buckle up, we put our shield and sword in place and we march down that long and dirty path to the gates of Hades. We continually hit our swords againts our shields, sounding an unmistakable alarm for war to Satan himself. Could you hear the sound of an army of God gathering at the old, rusty gates and they're shouting:

Let my people go!
